Located just out of the centre of St Helier, Hotel Metropole is perfectly situated for easy access to the main shopping area and the beach. the rooms are spacious, clean and well-serviced, with modern decor and comfortable beds. the staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable stay. the breakfast offers a good variety of options, and the evening meals provide excellent value for money. the hotel also provides facilities such as a swimming pool, gym, sauna, and jacuzzi to enjoy.
The hotel could benefit from some improvements in terms of noise insulation in the rooms.

Only 1 km from general hospital. Havre des Pas was 400 meters from the hotel.

very convenient for the town centre and access to car/bike hire, restaurants etc
it was listed as couples/family hotel but in fact the average age of the guests was 60-80. I felt the entertainment and food in the restaurant was geared towards this age group. had I known this i wouldn't have booked - and because of this I won't be recommending it to anyone. Also the quality of the restaurant evening meal was appalling.

The hotel was close to town, it was very clean and the rooms were a nice size and good for price paid. I will stay here again because good price, location and clean.
No lits! I had to drag my case up and down 3 flights of stairs! Only sandwiches offered or room service although I did order 1 and was very disapointed so would not order room service again. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich....no salad and chicken was hacked lumps. Some of waiters for breakfast were rude! You have to wait to be seated, I waited and although there were 2 waiters looking at me from a staff room they left me standing there. I went and sat myself down only to be moved. Waiter told me that the table was already taken, 5 mins later they cleared that table and no one sat there. Waiting staff from another country and a huge language barrier They were very abrupt and I missed breakfast because felt uncomfortable.

It served as a very good central point for exploring the island.

The hotel itself appears to have been recently refurbished and the bedrooms were of a good size and well appointed. The rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels, and the clean bathrooms were a pleasant surprise. The staff were great and we had no complaints with our stay. The location of the hotel was also very convenient, just out of the centre of St Helier, within walking distance to bars, shops, and eating places.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was great.

Good location to town centre, plus short walk to beach.
Bed room No 45. no view from window. Plus noise from extractor out side window, which ment that you had to keep window shut. Which made the room very stuffy. Mention this to reception next morning after arriverall. Nothing done about it.

Very relaxing pleasant stay. Lovely to have a fan in the room as it was beautiful weather. Also nice to have an excellent silver service breakfast. All Staff were very well trained and in particular I would like to highlight the poolside Cafe staff. Thank you all.
Not a complaint just ensure that notices for lift closure are displayed both outside and inside the lift. A wee bit disappointed that I couldnt get lift sometimes as door was left open. Entertainment very basic.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was also quite spacious and had a nice view. The staff was polite and attentive, always willing to help.
The hotel was not what we were expecting for New Year's Eve. The party was uneventful, with very little entertainment and mediocre food.

we were there to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, but unforntunately woke on the saturday morning with a mingraine and wasnt really any better and stuggled to get out of bed late sunday afternoon, so all very disappointing, so rather a waste of a weekend. So feel unable to really comment.
we were in room 119, outside seemed to be the walk way though for the staff starting around 6.30am where the door slammed continuously, I did comment about this on sunday eve, and our leaving morning on monday it did seem quieter. .

I found the Hotel very central to town and pier. It was very easy to travel then since the bus station is in centre of town. The hotel is very comfortable and very homely with its lovely gardens. I found it very relaxing and suitable for all ages. The hotel entertainment could be better. Apart from that everybody was very nice, and efficient, and made my stay very pleasant. I would go back.
Nighly entertainment could be better.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel just out of the center of St Helier. This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The basic amenities were all available, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the rooms were kept very clean. I especially appreciated the fresh towels and the daily cleaning service. The breakfast offered at this hotel was also fantastic, providing a delicious start to each day.
All was fine, nothing to complain about.
